*Purpose:

• The incumbent is responsible for Managing, monitoring; reporting, advising and follow up on manufacturing product specifications (in conjunction with R&D/L&B/TS/TP/NTM Groups). He/she is also responsible for managing IMI (Incoming Material Inspection), NPD support, MRB (Material Review Board), BOM (Bill of Materials), material and product shelf life and is a link between Factory, NPD, Market and R&D on handling PQF (Product Quality Feedback).

*Responsibilities:

• Provide, revise, maintain product specifications and other standards in the Factory manufacturing environment (as per R&D PD/TS/TP/NTM/Market Groups). Responsible for managing internal & Global process targets/limits and coordinate blend/brand maintenance (in SAP (as Factory Approver when applicable), QIMS etc.)

• Monitor and report product parameters evolution vs. specifications and advise corrective/preventive action needed to bring back the process to specified parameters. Monitor, analyze and report MRB (Material Review Board). Create local standards and ensure global and local procedures (SOPs) are in place and respected

• Active participation in the implementation of the new IWS system, especially the implementation of the Quality Pillar and positive participation in the DDS meetings

• Manage IMI activities (Incoming Material Inspection) by defining and utilizing a new IMI procedure aiming to cover more aspects of the material (from qty and parameters points of view) /NPD coordinations in QM. Execute JTI Quality Manual procedures, PLM and SAP(where applicable). Follow up Material Certificates from Suppliers and QA and provide suppliers & material performance review reports as a continuous improvement activity and in a way to provide shop-floor with the best possible material with lowest risk of receiving consumer complaints.
• Manage team in compliance with rules and regulations - Execution of Local/Global procedures such as Contamination prevention, QMS,.etc..

• Regular visiting the suppliers of printed materials as the main visual material of our finished product to ensure the continuous improvement of these materials and maintain their good condition.

• Checking the performance of the supplier representatives present at the factory to support the performance of the material and continuously improve the performance of the material as well as speed up the review of the reported cases of the material in the production hall.

• Managing the material localization by ensuring the timely, correct and proper performing and reporting of material qualification for smooth switching to local materials.

• Timely receipt of collaborative study samples and correct monthly tests in order to ensure the availability and correct performance of QME throughout the period.

• Evaluating the performance of the team members in order to identify the improvement areas and keep the continuous improvement align with the annual Performance Management

• Managing and planning the QA budget regarding the shipment costs (SLE, Trials, TI samples ...) by timely and correct sending of samples and carrying out the required follow-ups on the SLE samples to ensure the material availability, as well as the maximum use of the material and preventing material waste.
