DigiExpress is an innovative logistics company committed to advancing technology and operational excellence. We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead indirect procurement activities, including fleet spare parts and construction/project services, while ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, and strong supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for indirect materials, fleet spare parts, and construction/project services.
• Lead supplier prequalification, RFQ/RFP processes, and vendor selection across categories such as maintenance services, construction materials, contractors, and project management consultants.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure competitive pricing, service quality, and performance commitments.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and budget requirements.
• Oversee procurement for categories including fleet maintenance, consumables, tools, operational equipment, civil works, MEP services, consultancy, and equipment rental.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and implement cost optimization initiatives based on market trends.
• Collaborate closely with fleet, operations, construction, and PMO teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
• Provide regular procurement performance reports, budget updates, and risk analyses to management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Civil/Automotive Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect procurement, fleet management, spare parts sourcing, or construction/project services.
• Solid understanding of vendor negotiation, contract management, and procurement workflows.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management for both fleet operations and large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement platforms, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex procurement challenges under pressure.
