Job Brief
The Performance Marketing Team Lead will be a highly analytical and execution-focused leader, responsible for driving the company's growth through effective performance marketing strategies, robust eCRM execution, and meticulous budget management. This role requires a strong ability to oversee the day-to-day tasks of the team, ensure timely execution, and deliver high-quality, data-driven reporting.
Responsibilities
- Strategy, Execution, and Oversight
- Lead and manage the execution of all digital marketing and eCRM strategies across various channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Provide strong, hands-on oversight to the team, guaranteeing tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Be the primary point of accountability for the team's operational excellence and adherence to defined processes.
- Ensure rigorous testing and optimization of all campaigns (A/B testing, landing pages, etc.) to maximize ROI.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and present weekly and monthly performance reports to the Marketing Growth Manager, detailing key metrics, campaign results, budget expenditure, and clear next steps, recommendations.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for efficiency improvement.
- Establish and track critical KPIs (e.g., CPA, LTV, ROI, conversion rates) across all marketing initiatives.
- eCRM and User Segmentation
- Lead the eCRM function, overseeing SMS marketing, in-app messaging, push notifications.
- Demonstrate a high proficiency in user segmentation based on various attributes (behavioral, demographic, transactional) to deliver hyper-personalized and relevant communications.
- Drive continuous improvement in user retention, engagement, and lifecycle management through targeted CRM campaigns.
- Automation and Tool Proficiency
- Possess a high level of competency in using marketing automation tools, such as WebEngage, to streamline processes, automate campaigns, and improve user journeys.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new MarTech tools and features to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Budget and Financial Management
- Maintain strong expertise in cost management for all performance marketing channels ( search, social, display, SMS Marketing ).
- Own and manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of spend to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses of campaigns and propose adjustments to ensure financial efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
● Proven experience in Performance Marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership and team management role.
● Demonstrable track record of successfully managing and scaling large-performing marketing budgets.
● Exceptional ability to enforce team discipline and meticulous execution of tasks – a genuine "taskmaster" for high-quality output.
● Expert-level knowledge of major advertising platforms ( Google Ads, etc.)
● Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting, utilizing tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or BI platforms.
● High proficiency with eCRM and marketing automation platforms, particularly WebEngage.
