 Key Responsibilities:Taking over existing infrastructure knowledge and deployment procedures.

• Training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Setup, testing, and debugging of infrastructure.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Kubernetes & Cloud-Native

• Kubernetes cluster deployment, upgrades, scaling, troubleshooting
• Helm charts and Kubernetes operators
• Container runtimes: Docker, containerd
• Telco-grade networking in Kubernetes: Multus, SR-IOV, DPDK, Calico/Tigera
• CPU pinning, NUMA awareness
• Cloud-native storage systems

Operating Systems & Automation

• Linux administration (RHEL): system tuning, LVM, multipathing, kernel parameter configuration
• Automation with Ansible
• Python and Bash scripting

VMware & Virtualization

• VMware vSphere / ESXi (installation, HA, DRS, vMotion, storage vMotion, patching, upgrades)
• vCenter Server management (large-scale clusters, alarms, performance tuning)
• VMware NSX-T (overlay networking, micro-segmentation, load balancing)
• VMware vSAN (hyperconverged storage, storage policies, failure domains)
• VMware Telco Cloud Platform / Telco Cloud Infrastructure (VIM layer for NFVI)

Telco & NFV

•  
• Networking for NFV: SR-IOV, passthrough, DPDK with VMs, high-performance tuning
• VNF onboarding and lifecycle management
