As a Senior Laravel Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing sophisticated applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best-in-class solutions, integrating modern tools and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. Our ideal candidate is not only an expert in Laravel but also deeply committed to leveraging the latest technologies—from cloud services and containerization to modern front-end frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Architect and develop high-quality, scalable web applications using Laravel (preferably the latest version) and PHP 12+.
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservice architectures to ensure seamless integration with external systems.
- Utilize modern frameworks (Vue.js, React) to enhance user experiences in tandem with back-end services.
- Modernization & Innovation:
- Drive the adoption of modern development practices and tools, including Docker containerization.
- Collaborate on the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI to ensure fast, reliable, and continuous delivery.
- Code Quality & Best Practices:
- Champion clean, maintainable, and well-documented code through automated testing (PHPUnit) and comprehensive code reviews.
- Leverage modern DevOps practices and tools for performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and stay informed about the latest security threats and mitigation strategies.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to drive team success.
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust software solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements within the development team.
