• To carry out internal audits across various commercial functional areas (including but not limited to sales, marketing, and procurement) of MTNIrancell per assignment, using the latest audit techniques, frameworks, and standards (IIA); this includes examining and analyzing different aspects of functional and procedural matters to review adherence of functional areas (commercial, financial, and support) with company PPPs and industry best practices.
• To execute the assigned auditing order to coordinate and consult the business owner.
• To prepare an audit work program for assigned audits.
• To find issues according to gap analysis between the criteria and conditions.
• To prepare detailed reports on audit findings and offer recommendations according to the matter found and/or rectification actions to improve organizational procedures in functional areas (commercial, financial, and support).
• To work closely with other audit team members and other IAFS functions (Technology audit and Fraud Risk Management) to complete each audit exercise.
• To provide timely and comprehensive feedback to the Audit Manager on the implementation of assigned engagement actions.
• To perform special/ad-hoc assignments as directed by the audit manager.
• To follow up on audit agreed actions and validate the accuracy of implemented mitigations.
• To support the client in adapting implemented measures with recommendations and agreed actions for closing issues before the due dates.
• To document works done in the form of a work program under the internal audit methodology.
• To investigate deviations and non-compliance with PPPs as may be directed by the Audit Manager in collaboration with the compliance team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Internal Auditing, or Risk Management, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Industrial Management, or Industrial Engineering is advantageous.
• Additional related qualifications such as ACCA, CIA, or CIMA would be desirable.
• An MBA degree is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
• At least 3 years of experience in an area of specialization.
• Experience working in a medium and large organization.
