Responsibilities
· Perform basic statistical and data mining analyses in research and engineering projects
· Clean, preprocess, validate, and transform raw data into structured analytical outputs
· Identify, investigate, and document data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues
· Contribute to the development and evaluation of analytical models
· Research and implement data science, ML, and signal-analysis methodologies relevant to the domain
· Prepare clear documentation, analytical reports, and summaries for internal teams
· Support the development of automated data validation and monitoring processes

Requirements
· Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib/Plotly)
· Minimum 1+ year of professional experience in data analysis, machine learning
· Strong foundation in mathematics and signal processing
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and analytical thinking
· Experience working with structured/unstructured data
· Ability to recognize patterns, interpret sensor behavior, and extract meaningful insights
· Ability to troubleshoot data issues with high attention to detail
· Strong documentation, organization, and task-tracking skills
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams
Preferred Qualifications (a plus)
· Experience or projects in Data Science or Data Analysis
· Familiarity with fault diagnosis and fault detection
· Experience with engineering or sensor datasets (acceleration, vibration, video profiling, etc.)
· Understanding of signal-quality metrics, trend analysis, or event detection
· Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, or cloud storage (S3, etc.)
· Experience with machine learning workflows
