We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Accounting Supervisor to oversee and manage the sales accounting processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient coordination with the sales and finance teams. This role involves supervising sales-related transactions, managing account reconciliations, and providing insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee the recording and reconciliation of all sales transactions, including revenue recognition.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, credit notes, and adjustments.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales accounting team.
- Assign tasks, review performance, and provide training to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations related to sales.
- Prepare and analyze sales revenue reports, identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to streamline processes.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiency.
Requirments:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in sales accounting or revenue management is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
