We’re looking for a highly analytical and self-driven Business Strategy Analyst to serve as the strategic extension of the Business Development function. This role is designed for someone who thrives on data, business understanding, and organizational influence- someone who can turn insights into action and align teams around performance, progress, and strategy.
The ideal candidate will own cross-departmental performance tracking, connect strategic goals with operational results, and proactively identify opportunities or misalignments across teams. Around 30% of the role will also focus on market research in the gold industry, including both digital and traditional market analysis.
● Act as the analytical partner to the Head of Business Development — ensuring decisions are grounded in real performance data and business insights.
● Collect, analyze, and interpret KPIs from all business units to track progress toward strategic objectives.
● Detect inconsistencies or gaps in reporting and follow up with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and accountability.
● Build structured performance reports and dashboards that highlight key insights, risks, and recommendations for action.
● Collaborate with department heads to translate strategy into measurable outcomes and follow through on execution.
● Conduct in-depth market research on the gold ecosystem, including competitors, pricing trends, and consumer behavior (both online and in traditional markets).
● Support strategic planning cycles by providing data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and market outlooks.
● Identify emerging business opportunities and threats through continuous monitoring of industry and internal trends.
● Develop and maintain analytical frameworks that connect market insights with business performance.
● 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Strategy, or Performance Management (preferably in dynamic or fast-growing organizations).
● Strong analytical and modeling skills — able to structure ambiguous problems and find insight through data.
● Proven ability to extract, clean, and analyze data independently (experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools is a plus).
● Excellent communication and storytelling skills — capable of turning complex data into actionable business recommendations.
● High ownership mindset and persistence in following up cross-functional initiatives to completion.
● Familiarity with business performance metrics, KPI frameworks, and strategic alignment processes.
● Experience in market research or industry analysis, ideally in financial services, commodities, or trading sectors
