Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are a dynamic and innovative proprietary trading firm specializing in the forex market. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the financial technology sector, specifically within the forex industry, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
Oversee all technical aspects of the company, including system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure.
Lead and mentor a team of developers and IT professionals to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Collaborate with other executive team members to ensure technology solutions meet the firm’s trading objectives and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of technological advancements and trends in the forex trading industry to keep the company at the cutting edge of innovation.
Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of the company’s trading platforms and IT systems.
Handle technical issues and provide swift resolutions to ensure minimal downtime.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technical leadership role within the financial technology sector.
Extensive knowledge of forex trading platforms, algorithms, and technologies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a technical team.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
High degree of follow-through and ability to drive projects to completion.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior technical role within the forex or financial services industry.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in financial technology (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
Strong understanding of database management, cloud services, and network architecture.
