• Manage and lead a team of network engineers responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our datacenter network.
• Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures utilizing Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Monitor network performance, proactively identify bottlenecks and implement necessary optimizations using advanced monitoring tools and technologies.
• Oversee the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Cisco devices, including switches (Catalyst and Nexus series), routers (ASR, ISR), and firewalls (Firepower).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain and enforce network security policies, implementing industry best practices and utilizing Cisco security technologies (ACLs, VPN, IPS/IDS) to protect the datacenter network.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to network infrastructure and security.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and evaluate their potential application and impact on the datacenter network.
• Manage vendor relationships, including equipment procurement, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of the network team members, provide mentorship and coaching to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.


Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desired.
• More than five years of hands-on experience in managing and operating data center networks.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, and other routing and switching protocols.
• Proficiency in advanced network monitoring tools and technologies, such as SNMP, NetFlow, packet capture analysis, and performance monitoring solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, including access control, threat detection, and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of network professionals, fostering collaboration, and driving performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
