Wallex Company is looking for a passionate and skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data warehousing solution, which are built on Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and other related technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our data ecosystem, enabling our organization to make informed decisions and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

o  Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources into our data warehouse.
o  Familiar with Data Warehouse Design techniques, and able to design proper data warehouse based on analytics needs.
o  Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and data analysis requirements.
o  Data Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain data security measures, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information. Adhere to relevant compliance standards and regulations.
o  Implement and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata to ensure data consistency, quality, and integrity across the organization.
o  Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, addressing issues proactively to ensure the availability and reliability of the data platform.
o  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, understand business objectives, and develop solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and proactively propose improvements to our data ecosystem.

Requirements:

o  At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server and Technologies.
o  Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
o  Experience with data modeling, database design, and metadata management.
o  Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, such as star schemas, snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling.
o  Familiarity with Python programing.
o  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
o  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
