The position
As a Tax Accountant at Novo Nordisk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance and tax adherence. This includes preparing local financial reports in Farsi, monitoring statutory books and local bookkeeping, and participating in the reconciliation of ERP versus local system records. You will be responsible for ensuring tax and SSO compliance across various functions within the organization, responding to tax and SSO queries, and advising on regulations and laws as needed. Additionally, you will play a key role in revising and submitting VAT returns and tax returns to the Ministry of Finance, working in consultation with a Tax consultant.
Some of your responsibilities include:
• Preparation of local financial reports in Farsi in accordance with local standards.
• Ensuring tax and SSO compliance for various functions within the organization.
• Responding to tax and SSO queries, advising on regulations and laws when requested.
• Revising and submitting Seasonal reports, VAT returns with controlling Taxpayer portal and Tax returns to the Ministry of Finance.
• Prepare SSO letters, Release supplier deposit after receiving SSO certificate and prepare all the related documents for SSO audits.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you have:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• Preferably up to 2 years of previous experience in any accounting-related positions.
• Intermediate level of English skills, both written and oral.
• Independent, responsible, and conscientious.
