Roles & Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute agile sourcing strategies for various categories of spend, aligning with organizational objectives and values.
- To identify and select strategic suppliers through market research, competitive analysis, and RFx processes.
- To negotiate contracts and agreements with the strategic suppliers to achieve cost savings, optimize quality, and ensure timely delivery.
- To monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues and fostering continuous improvement.
- To build and maintain strong relationships with the strategic suppliers, promoting collaboration and innovation.
- To conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in agile sourcing.
- To collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and business units, to understand requirements and align procurement strategies.
- To lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- To analyze spend data and develop actionable insights to drive cost savings and process efficiencies.
- To implement and maintain agile sourcing tools, processes, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes.
- To oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, and delivery.
- To monitor transportation, customs clearance, and delivery to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- To ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations and Incoterms.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, along with an MBA/Master's degree, is advantageous.
Experience:
- Managerial track record of 5 years or more, with at least 3 years in the relevant sector/ industry.
- Working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
