At Okala, we are changing the game in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, creating a new online grocery shopping experience for Iranians. Our Product team collaborates to make it happen. we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a crucial part of our team as a Senior Product Designer.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to final product delivery, ensuring a seamless and user-centric experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX researchers, product managers, and developers, to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and interactions effectively.
- Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and business goals.
- Maintain design consistency and standards across all products and platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest UI and UX design trends, tools, and best practices, and actively share knowledge and mentor other team members.
- I'd like you to collaborate with development teams during the implementation phase to ensure the accurate and high-quality execution of designs.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization.
Requirements:
- Proficient in conducting user research methodologies such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and user feedback analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze research findings.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Ability to define research objectives and develop research plans.
- Experience in generating actionable insights that inform design decisions and drive product improvements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of UX research tools and software.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Up-to-date with the latest UX research methodologies and industry trends.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate research findings and advocate for the user to stakeholders.
