This role is crucial in providing proactive support and responding to incidents to minimize service interruptions.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage the operational health of network systems, servers, and applications using various monitoring tools.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Respond promptly to alerts and incidents, escalating issues as needed while documenting the resolution process.Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure network reliability and performance.Collaborate with IT teams to implement network changes, upgrades, and improvements.Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and technical issues related to network services.Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and procedures forcompliance and troubleshooting.Participate in on-call support rotations to provide after-hours support as necessary.Assist in the implementation and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in a NOC role or similar IT support position.Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and protocols.Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix) and ticketing systems.Familiarity with firewall and security technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).Basic knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualizationtechnologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and networking in a cloud environment.Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
