We are seeking a dynamic and experienced front-end developer Team Lead to lead our talented team of front-end developers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the architecture, development, and maintenance of our front-end infrastructure while ensuring high team performance and project delivery. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and designers to define project requirements and tech objectives, contributing to overall business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture reviews and define technical key results (KR) based on objectives to drive team performance and scalability.
- Own and maintain the frontend infrastructure, overseeing the development of new tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product, and design teams to refine project requirements before defining product requirement documents (PRDs).
- Manage resource allocation, including team member assignments, quarter roadmaps, and project deadlines.
- Conduct tech reviews, monitor metrics, and implement best practices for testing and quality assurance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members for coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery speed, quality, and innovation within the front-end development process.
- Participate in interviews and CV screening to expand and strengthen the frontend team.
- Actively engage in public presence through blogs, open-source contributions, and conference talks.
Requirement:
- Extensive experience in frontend development, with a deep understanding of frontend technologies, system design, and development methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a medium-sized team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style according to individual team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in crisis management, resource allocation, and project management.
- Proficiency in Docker and PWA (Progressive Web Apps).
- Expertise in scalability and performance concepts, with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to drive engagement, public speaking, and public presence initiatives.
- The desire for continuous learning and skill improvement.
- Experience with socket programming and a deep understanding of coding best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience in code review processes.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Track record of active listening, adaptation, and ownership of project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate responsibilities effectively while ensuring the quality of delegation.
- Prior experience in defining quality and testing standards for front-end development.
