About Us:
We are a leading online retail business committed to providing exceptional shopping experiences to our customers in Snapp Market Pro. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Test Scenario and Test Case Development: Write comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for every Product Requirement Document (PRD) to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Collaborative Communication: Work closely with developers to receive tasks and report bugs during sprint processes, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs using our bug tracking system, ensuring timely resolution. Ensures the efficiency of inspections through hands-on guidance.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Quality Metrics: Monitor and report on quality metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to ensure continuous improvement.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT activities to validate that the product meets business requirements and user needs.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA, preferably in an online retail environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in test management tools and bug tracking systems. Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in sprint cycles.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
