Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable, reliable services that will be used to onboard a platform with millions of users 
• Design, build, and scale integrations between decentralized matching, risk, and limit order book systems.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and well-tested code with engineering best practices and principles in a highly visible project
• Maintain the backend infrastructure for our Defi dApps, Bots, and AI models.
• Ensure the reliability and high-quality experience on all externally facing technical component
• Build high performance REST & WebSocket APIs using FastAPI
• Write open source TypeScript & Python clients
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers and product managers to turn requirements into products

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience working as a full-time developer
• Excellent Python skills
• Degree in Computer Science
• Exceptional communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask
• Experience in relational and NoSQL databases and deep knowledge on API design, websockets, network communication
• Strong general engineering ability: writing modular, maintainable code within a complex codebase.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker
• Experience with or are open to learning JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js,  Redis, Kafka, Express, WebSockets, is a plus.
• Team player and are comfortable reviewing others' code and implementing feedback from others on your work.  
• Comfortable with asynchronous written communication
• Knowledge of crypto and DeFi is a strong plus. 
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
