Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco SDNs.
- Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Develop and implement scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiency.
- Manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS) to ensure optimal performance and capacity utilization.
- Provide support for enterprise Windows and Linux systems within the virtualized environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot virtualization-related issues proactively.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest virtualization technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Virtualization Engineer or similar role.
- Proven experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter Server, ESXi).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Expertise in scripting for automating IT tasks.
- Solid knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
- Experience managing enterprise Windows and Linux systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with Cisco Products is Plus
- Previous experience with Proxmox is Plus
- Previous experience with cloud platforms (on-premise) is Plus
- Previous experience with containerization is Plus
