Key Responsibilities
- Application Development Design and maintain high-performance Java applications. Integrate backend services with front-end applications and third-party services.
- API Development Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices in Java. Ensure API security and performance.
- Database Management Optimize relational and NoSQL databases. Write efficient queries and ensure data integrity.
- Code Quality Write clean, maintainable code. Conduct code reviews and implement automated testing.
- System Architecture Contribute to system design. Ensure high performance and scalability of software components.
- Continuous Improvement Apply new technologies to projects. Identify and address process improvements.
- Collaboration Work with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers. Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience 3+ years in Java development with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE. Proven experience in designing and developing Java applications and backend services.
- Technical Skills
- Java Proficiency Deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.
- API Development Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Database Management Expertise in relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Web Technologies Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
- Version Control Proficient in Git, including branching and merging.
- Testing and Debugging Experience with JUnit, TestNG, and debugging tools.
- Deployment Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Security Understanding of encryption, authentication, and secure coding practices.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka).
