Position Overview
We are looking for a Multimedia Graphic Designer with a sharp creative eye and technical skillset to support the production of Prescott Books’ visual content across digital, editorial, and video formats.
This designer will work hand-in-hand with our Senior Narrative & Multimedia Content Strategist to turn written narratives into visually striking campaigns—from Instagram carousels and reels, to magazine spreads, promotional videos, and high-end photo edits.
You’ll help shape the visual identity of our content across every channel.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Design & Branding
- Design static graphics, carousel posts, stories, and reel covers for Instagram,Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
-Maintain cohesive brand aesthetics across platforms and campaigns
Photo Editing & Enhancements
-Retouch and color-grade professional photography for publication and digital use
-Prepare author headshots, cover art, and campaign assets for multi-format deployment
Creative Collaboration
-Brainstorm visual concepts with the Content Strategist and contribute ideas in creative meetings
-Receive creative briefs and translate them into polished visual outputs
-Provide visual guidance and feedback to ensure final assets match original concepts
Software Proficiency (Required)
Adobe Photoshop – Photo editing, layout design, social assets
-Adobe Illustrator – Graphic creation, logos, vector work
-Adobe Premiere Pro – Video editing and sequencing
-Adobe InDesign – Magazine and print layout design
-Bonus if you're familiar with: After Effects, Canva, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, or Figma.
Qualifications
-2+ years of professional design experience across digital and video platforms
-Strong portfolio showcasing design for editorial, social, and video content
-Exceptional eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Experience working with narrative-based content and storytelling visuals
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
-Comfortable receiving and implementing creative feedback
