Junior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:
Collaborating with the team to collect data from various sources (including relational and non-relational databases).
Cleaning and preparing data for analysis.

Data Analysis:
Conducting simple analyses to identify patterns and provide initial insights.
Assisting the team with more complex analyses.

Modeling and Machine Learning:
Assisting in designing and developing simple machine learning models using existing data.
Testing and improving models.

Data Visualization:
Creating basic charts and reports for various teams.
Utilizing tools such as Power BI.

Database Management:
Working with MongoDB for collecting and querying non-relational data.
Performing basic database management tasks, such as creating, updating, and querying NoSQL databases.

Required Skills:

Analysis and Programming:
Basic knowledge of Python.
Ability to work with SQL for relational databases.

Familiarity with MongoDB:
Basic understanding of NoSQL database principles.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB (preferably in academic or personal projects).

Modeling and Machine Learning:
Foundational knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with libraries such as Scikit-learn or TensorFlow (preferred).

Soft Skills:
Passion for learning and self-improvement.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Experience:
Formal work experience is not mandatory; however, having experience in academic or personal projects involving MongoDB and data science is essential.
Completion of relevant courses (online or in-person) is a plus.
