Job Overview: The TechOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the technical infrastructure of a fintech organization. This includes overseeing the deployment and maintenance of software Systems, ensuring the availability of critical applications, and identifying and addressing technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective delivery of technology services
- Collaborate with banks and providers
- Conduct regular technology assessments and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Partner closely with our product, Technical and Financial team to deliver issues
- Analyzing the existing monitoring and alerting mechanism to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in the processing environment
- Document Issues and Process
- Inform top merchants of production issues and planned maintenance activities
- Provide and review daily, weekly, and quarterly platform metrics
- Provide on-call support, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a technology operations role, preferably in a fintech organization
- Technical knowledge and experience with infrastructure technologies
- Tools development to help improve teams efficiency, early detect and escalate LIVE issues : Scripting (Java, Python, sql)
- Experience with deploying and managing large-scale software systems, such as CRM, ERP, or financial systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
