Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and set timelines.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions using best practices.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and internal guidelines.
- Facilitate technical discussions and drive decision-making on architecture, tools, and technologies.
- Oversee code reviews, ensuring best practices in code structure, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Identify bottlenecks and provide solutions for performance and scalability challenges.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
- Act as a key point of contact between technical and non-technical teams, communicating project progress, risks, and goals effectively.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (PHP, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Strong experience with PHP frameworks like Phalcon or Laravel (or similar).
- Experience with MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and other backend technologies.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
- Proven track record of leading teams through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and delivering projects on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React or Vue.js.
- Experience scaling teams and implementing processes for high-performance teams.
