Web Service Development for Part number Retrieval

of part numbers and accurately retrieve the correct part number from our existing database. The ideal candidate should have experience with API development and ML/AI. You will be responsible for ensuring the service is efficient, user-friendly, and integrates seamlessly with other current systems in Microsoft .NET ecosystem. the requirements for the final product would be: An API endpoint that can be used to retrieve the partnumber of part that matches the description used as the input for the endpoint. Input may be: one or more descriptions of parts. Output should be: one or more partnumbers per description with a ranking based on likelihood that the partnumber matches the description. The service needs to run in our hosting environment based on Kubernetes with microservices or on Azure if the service needs ML/AI technology. We would like to be able to test the service by developing a small console application (C#) that calls the service when temporarily hosted in your own environment. - Natural Language Processing (NLP) for text matching - Local CSV database for part storage - Scikit-learn for text vectorization and similarity matching - NLTK for text preprocessing
