Duties:
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify opportunities for menu innovation, as well as gain insights on positioning, sales channels, and creating suitable product-market fits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to develop menu concepts that meet customer preferences, operational requirements, and business objectives.
- Develop new menu items, focusing on planning and design aspects while considering factors such as ingredient availability, production feasibility, and cost-effectiveness, without direct involvement in the cooking process.
- Work closely with culinary teams to test and refine menu items, ensuring optimal taste, quality, and presentation.
- Develop comprehensive menu rollout plans, including marketing strategies, pricing recommendations, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor customer feedback and sales data to evaluate the performance of menu items and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing to drive ongoing menu innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, MBA, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar position or industry.
- Experience in menu development, culinary innovation, or related roles within the food service industry is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated strong project management skills, capable of effectively managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, skilled at working seamlessly across diverse teams and departments.
