Nordic Company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Senior/Middle Full-Stack PHP Developer.
- Nordic is a fast-growing, dynamic, and innovative English company based in London that conducts business across Europe and Asia.
- We work in the automotive industry but for the last 6 years have been developing a ground-breaking platform that will literally change the industry.
- We have a small and talented team of developers based in Georgia and are building a second team in Iran.
- The team is managed from London on a daily basis with frequent visits to Georgia, and team members occasionally visiting London.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience with web development techniques such as PHP and MySQL.
- Proficiency in database management and optimization.
- Familiarity with basic principles of TDD, and DDD, and a willingness to learn them.
- Ability to think and write technical designs.
- Perform thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.
- Capability to independently interpret code from others and propose substantiated refactor or improvement suggestions.
- Familiar with Docker and AWS
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role in software development.
- In-depth understanding of PHP/Laravel and its core principles.
- Proficiency in managing services on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with API design and development and a good understanding of RESTful services.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and coding Nordic's growing full-stack systems.
- Coding (mostly in PHP and Laravel).
- Creating new features or refactoring and improving existing ones.
- Collaborating with the Front-End Team to integrate client-side elements with server-side logic.
- Ensuring the security and data protection of all our products.
