We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Fraud to lead the development and optimization of fraud detection and prevention systems. In this role, you will define the product strategy for combating fraud, work closely with engineering, data, risk, and compliance teams, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that minimize fraud losses while maintaining a smooth user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product strategy for fraud detection and prevention.
- Design, prioritize, and manage the roadmap for fraud-related features and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, risk, operations, and compliance teams to develop and launch anti-fraud initiatives.
- Monitor key metrics such as fraud loss, false positives, detection accuracy, and user friction.
- Analyze user behavior and fraud patterns to proactively identify risks and drive prevention strategies.
- Define product requirements, write clear documentation, and own the delivery of the product features.
- Stay up to date with fraud trends, technologies, and relevant regulations (AML/KYC).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on fraud, risk, or financial platforms.
- Experience working with fraud scoring systems, rule engines, or machine learning-based detection models.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex problems and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, etc.) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience at a fintech, crypto exchange, or e-commerce platform.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with SQL and data tools.
- Understanding of identity verification, device fingerprinting, or transaction risk models.
- Experience balancing fraud controls with user experience optimization.
