مهمترین مسئولیت‌های مدیر کنترل کیفیت در زیر آمده است:
- درک خط مشی کیفیت و همسو نمودن فعالیت‌های واحد در رابطه با آن‌ها.
- تدوین اهداف و برنامه کیفیت واحد کنترل کیفیت و پیشنهاد آن به مدیریت ارشد.
- تلاش در جهت تحقق اهداف و برنامه‌های کیفیت و گزارش‌دهی به مدیریت ارشد.
- همکاری در شناسایی ریسک‌ها و فرصت‌های فرآیندهای سازمان و تلاش در جهت کنترل آن‌ها.
- مستندسازی سیستم مدیریت و محصول نظیر تدوین فرم‌های کنترل کیفیت، دستورالعمل‌ها و روش‌های اجرایی مرتبط.
- همکاری در تعیین فرآیندهای مرتبط با کنترل کیفیت.
- همکاری با واحد فنی و مهندسی در تدوین طرح کیفیت محصول یا خدمات شامل اطلاعات خرید محصول، مشخصه‌های کنترلی محصول، روش‌های آزمون و بازرسی، طرح بسته‌بندی و غیره.
- همکاری با واحد طراحی در تدوین اسناد طراحی برای محصولات جدید.
- نظارت بر انجام بازرسی‌های ورودی ـ نهایی ـ حین تولید توسط بازرسین.
- تهیه گزارش از وضعیت کنترل کیفی محصولات و خدمات و ارائه به مدیریت ارشد.
- تحلیل گزارش‌ها و داده‌های مرتبط با کیفیت محصولات و خدمات و تصمیم‌گیری جهت بهبود وضعیت.
- پایش و اندازه‌گیری فرآیندهای مرتبط و ارائه به نماینده مدیریت ایزو.
- درخواست اقدامات اصلاحی و پیشگیرانه جهت حذف عدم انطباق‌های بالفعل و بالقوه.
- نظارت بر شناسایی و ردیابی محصول و نحوه اجرای آن.
- تأیید فرم‌های کنترل کیفیت پس از انجام کنترل‌های لازم توسط بازرسین و مسئول آزمایشگاه.
- کنترل محصول نامنطبق شامل تعیین تکلیف اقلام نامنطبق ورودی، محصول نیمه ساخته و محصول نهایی نامنطبق.
- تعیین میزان اثربخشی آموزشی دوره‌های آموزشی پرسنل آموزش‌دیده واحد کنترل کیفی.
- تعیین نیازهای آموزشی کارکنان و اعلام به واحد آموزش.
- حضور در جلسات بازنگری مدیریت و طرح مسائل مربوط به واحد کنترل کیفیت.
- تهیه لیست تجهیزات اندازه‌گیری و آزمون
- تهیه برنامه بازدید و کالیبراسیون تجهیزات پایش و اندازه‌گیری.
- هماهنگی جهت ارسال تجهیزات کالیبراسیون جهت کالیبره نمودن و مذاکره با طرفین برون‌سازمانی مربوطه.
- نظارت بر نتایج کالیبراسیون تجهیزات اندازه‌گیری.
- نظارت بر فعالیت‌های بازرس کنترل کیفیت و مدیر آزمایشگاه (در صورتی که آزمایشگاه داخلی زیر نظر کنترل کیفیت فعالیت می‌نماید).
- درخواست آزمایش در موارد لازم از آزمایشگاه‌های معتبر.
- ارزیابی آزمایشگاه‌های معتبر جهت انجام آزمون‌ها و کالیبراسیون تجهیزات اندازه‌گیری و اطلاع نتایج به مسئول خرید.
- ارتباط و گزارش‌دهی به ذی نفعان در خصوص مسائل کیفیت محصول یا خدمات و سیستم مدیریت نظیر موسسه استاندارد یا مشتری.
- حصول اطمینان از انطباق فرآیندهای تولید و ساخت با الزامات و مقرراتی قانونی.
- همکاری در ارزیابی اولیه و عملکرد تأمین‌کنندگان سازمان.
- انجام سایر وظایف محوله از سوی مدیرعامل.

● Education: Bachelor's/Master's
● Preferably in mechanical engineering/metallurgy and materials
● Has at least 5 years of work experience as a quality control manager of manufacturing factories
● Sufficient familiarity with the procedures and Machine building standards, especially material handling machines
● Familiarity with Auto CAD software, Ms Office
● Good command of English
