Responsibilities:
- Develop mobile applications with React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Work closely with the back-end developers to integrate APIs and data.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Participate in design and code reviews, and work with the team to maintain best practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app development with React Native.
- Deep familiarity with React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
- Prior experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
