We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, knowledge about Canadian payroll systems and excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
-Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
-Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
-Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
-Perform partial checks of the posting process.
-Complete tax forms and enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
-Process accounts receivable/payable and handle Canadian payroll in a timely manner.
-Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
-Update and maintain the general ledger.
-Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.

Requirements:
-Proven accounting experience.
-Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
-Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
-Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
-Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
-BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, ACCA or CPA is preferred.

Qualifications:
-Familiarity with QuickBooks / Odoo Online accounting software.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
-Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
