IT Support and Network Engineer

We are seeking an IT Support and Infrastructure Specialist capable of managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting operating systems, networks, and related services. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to staff across departments, installing and maintaining software, and setting up and managing network infrastructure, Cisco and MikroTik devices, and virtualization systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Provide hardware and software support to colleagues in other departments
• Advise on the purchase of computer systems and related equipment for the organization
• Install and update general and specialized software
• Maintain and monitor networks (traffic control, internet link status, and network health)
• Manage and support network services
• Set up and troubleshoot VPN servers
• Implement and manage virtualization using VMware ESXi
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco and MikroTik routers
• Manage and support Cisco switches (Layer 2 and Layer 3)
• Perform advanced MikroTik configuration and support
• Create and maintain backups and perform restoration when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support and infrastructure
• Strong command of Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with macOS and Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of network concepts and equipment (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Monitoring)
• Experience with network services (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with virtualization, preferably VMware ESXi
• Proficiency in Cisco router and switch configuration and management
• Advanced experience with MikroTik devices (Advanced Routing, VPN, QoS)
• Ability to work with VPN protocols such as OpenVPN and L2TP
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide effective solutions quickly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for interaction with team members

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA Network+
• MCSA / MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate / Expert)
• MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and advanced MikroTik certifications
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• Familiarity with LPIC-1
