 About the Role
We are seeking a technically literate Scrum Master to lead our Software Engineering and QA squads. You will work hand-in-glove with the Product team to drive planning, refine requirements, and ensure complex AI and integration features on the Action Model platform are pushed through to delivery. Your role involves taking full ownership of Jira configuration and reporting to optimise our workflows. You will be the heartbeat of the team, leading energetic ceremonies and motivating developers to meet their commitments while helping Product Owners manage the backlog.

Key Responsibilities
● Technical Expertise: Must have previous experience working directly with software engineering teams as a Scrum Master. You need a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to effectively support developers working on AI, RPA, and third-party integrations.
● Advanced Jira Configuration & Ownership: We need more than just a user; we need a Jira owner. You must have advanced experience configuring and customising Jira to fit the team’s specific needs. This includes designing custom workflows, modifying screen schemes/fields, and setting up automation rules. You will be responsible for creating advanced dashboards and reports (using JQL) to provide clear visibility into team velocity and health.
● Ceremony Leadership: Plan and facilitate highly effective Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will ensure these sessions are time-boxed, focused, and result in clear actions rather than just discussion.
● Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading software development teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
● Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban, with the confidence to tailor frameworks to fit the team’s workflow rather than rigidly following a manual.
● Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential project issues.
● Organisational Skills: Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
● Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Requirements
● Experience with AI and RPA technologies is highly desirable. 
● Prior experience in a similar role within a tech startup company is advantageous. 
● Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is a plus. 
● Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps principles. 
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). 
● Understanding of APIs, microservices, and workflow orchestration tools.
