We are looking for a rock-star data scientist with independent research ability and passion for implementing new and innovative approaches to analytics and model development to join our high-impact team.
 

As a Senior Product Designer at Cafe Bazaar, you will: 

Provide decision support to engineers and managers by creating reports, running queries, and building predictive models and really doing whatever it takes to support the analytical needs.
Effectively translate analytical findings into the language of decision-makers; communicate findings effectively supported by visual representations.

Requirements

• Ms/Bs in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fields.
• 2+ years experience with data science pipelines, predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical techniques such as regression, decision trees, clustering, neural
• networks, text mining, etc.
• Extensive experience with Python, supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality analytics.
• Experience translating business problems into data problems and solving them.
• Responsive, team-oriented personal style for effective communications with internal clients and colleagues in cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility and comfort working in a dynamic organization with minimal documentation and process.
• Familiar with neural networks and natural language processing

 
Nice to Have:

• Having experience of using state of the art neural network models to solve NLP problems
• Familiar with recommender systems
• Building distributed software (especially on top of Spark) in a production environment.
• Proven track record of completing multiple data science projects end to end, from idea to objectives formulation to implementation and deliverables.
• Familiarity with auctions and pricing mechanisms in online markets.
• Having experience in Reinforcement Learning, especially Multi-Armed Bandit problems.
• Ability to design and analyze Randomized Controlled trials
