C#/.NET Back-End Developer (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (must be available to work in US Eastern Time Zone) Employment
Type: Full-time Salary Range: $2,500 – $3,500 (depending on experience)
We are seeking a highly skilled C#/.NET Developer to join our growing team. The ideal
candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, microservices, and cloud-based
applications, with a passion for building scalable and efficient systems using the Microsoft
ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C#-based applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC services for backend systems.
- Implement and manage microservices architecture with frameworks like Steeltoe or similar patterns.
- Work with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Collaborate effectively in Agile teams using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, and Slack.
Mandatory Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET development (.NET Framework, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core).
- Strong experience in backend API development (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
- Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure experience highly valued).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level) – CVs must be submitted in English.
- Ability to work in US Eastern Time Zone (EST).
Desirable Skills
- Experience with messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka).
- Knowledge of Redis for caching and session management. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks (ASP.NET Core Identity, OAuth2, JWT).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
