People are using our payment solution every day and we want developers and merchants to consider us as a trustworthy, affordable, and high conversion rate payment channel. Now, BazaarPay is Seeking for Experienced Test Engineer.The Quality Assurance Engineer participates in all phases of the project lifecycle and is responsible for a wide variety of tasks. The Quality Assurance Engineer works with the rest of the QA team to demonstrate commitment to excellence by consistently providing high-quality software that meets our client’s needs. The role supports project teams by creating testing collateral, and test strategies, executing tests throughout the project, managing client UAT cycles, and working closely with other team members to meet sprint and project goals. While the current landscape of testing is manual, there are future opportunities to expand into automation.Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Monitor debugging process results. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. RequirementsExtensive experience with test automation tooling and frameworks, e.g. Postman.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Proven work experience in software development.Strong fundamental understanding of Software Engineering principlesProven work experience in software quality assurance.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Experience with version control systems.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with performance and/or security testing.Experience in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.Nice to have knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Web testing tools (like Playwright).Familiar with Fintech concepts.BenefitsFlexible working hoursTalented colleagues and an interesting work environmentSupplementary health insuranceInteresting loans to employeesVarious on-site entertainmentsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan
