What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and high-performance data pipelines, databases, and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify opportunities, and create data solutions that drive business insights.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Optimize data architecture for efficient data retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and database management.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and data dictionaries.
Requirements:
- Full professional proficiency in English is a must.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate to Turkey.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on database design, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design for both transactional and analytical databases.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Ability to optimize database performance and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
