We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize robust server-side applications.Design and implement efficient APIs for front-end and third-party integrations.Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.Monitor, analyze, and improve application performance by implementing observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure high code quality by following Clean Code principles, SOLID principles, and established design patterns.Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.Optimize database queries, design scalable data models, and implement effective caching strategies.Integrate with messaging systems, event buses, and background processing frameworks.Contribute to architectural decisions and propose improvements to enhance system reliability and scalability.Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and deployment processes.Job requirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core (.NET 8).Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and ORM principles.Proven experience in microservices architecture.Solid understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience working in Agile and collaborative team environments.Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.Preferred Skills:Experience with NServiceBus or other messaging/event-driven frameworks.Experience with background job processing frameworks (e.g., Hangfire, Quartz.NET).Soft Skills & Attributes: Results-oriented, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.Creative thinker with strong practical problem-solving abilities.Proactive mindset, continuously seeking to improve processes and systems.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
