Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automation testing, ensuring the successful delivery of high-performing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Execute Tests:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases for functional and non-functional testing.
- Perform different types of testing including Integration, System, Acceptance, Performance, and Regression Testing.
- Automation and Tools:
- Work with QA tools such as Postman, Swagger, JMeter, Playwright, and Appium for testing and automation.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to identify issues early.
- Document and report testing outcomes, clearly identifying defects and working on effective resolutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate actively in Agile development processes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with QA best practices and emerging testing methodologies.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing principles.
- Experience in both functional and non-functional testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Appium).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and performance testing tools (JMeter).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
