At Telewebion, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our multi-platform products. This role is ideal for a QA professional with a strong manual testing background and solid automation testing skills, who is eager to deeply understand complex systems and improve quality through automation.
While the initial focus of this role will be on manual testing to gain full knowledge of the platform, automation testing is a critical and essential part of this position. Once familiar with the system, the QA Engineer is expected to actively design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth manual testing of features across Web, Android, iOS, and Android TV platforms.
- Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on product requirements.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. - Conduct API testing for REST and GraphQL services.
- Validate data consistency and integrity using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Use database tools such as DataGrip and other DB UI connectors to verify backend data and troubleshoot issues.
- After gaining a strong understanding of the system, design, implement, and maintain automation tests to improve test coverage, reliability, and release confidence.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and workflows.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual testing for complex, multi-platform applications.
- Strong experience with test automation and a clear understanding of automation best practices.
- Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience using tools such as DataGrip or other database UI connectors.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Postman Test Runner.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
- Experience testing across Web, Android, iOS, and Android TV platforms.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
