We are iTechNet.
As we strive to improve the performance, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, we are looking for a skilled DevOps & Infrastructure Specialist to join us on a project-based, remote role. This person will play a key role in automating our workflows, enhancing deployment stability, and supporting our cloud operations. This position is remote and project-based.
Key Responsibilities
1. Server & Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Separate and manage development, staging, and production environments.
- Set up, configure, and manage servers and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Monitor usage and implement auto-scaling to meet workload demands.
2. CI/CD and Code Deployment
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub-based).
- Run automated tests and ensure code coverage and release stability.
3. Monitoring & Logging
- Set up observability tools to monitor performance, uptime, and errors.
- Analyze logs and resolve issues proactively to reduce user impact.
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement best practices in cloud and application security.
- Perform regular system updates and vulnerability scans.
5. Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with dev, product, and design teams.
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes clearly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficient with CI/CD tools and GitHub workflows.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security protocols.
- Experience with monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.).
- Good scripting and automation skills (Shell, Python, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- DevOps or cloud certifications are a plus.
- Bonus: Experience with SEO basics or optimizing infrastructure for performance and crawlability.
- Bonus: Experience working on booking platforms or high-availability web applications.
