Job Description
The Operations Excellence Specialist at SnapShop plays a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within the Fulfillment Center.
This role applies methodologies such as systems thinking, process orientation, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and data-driven analysis to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and minimize operational costs.
The Specialist works closely with stakeholders across logistics, commercial, marketing, and product teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve operations excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze end-to-end operations processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement process enhancement strategies that drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Led Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects focused on waste elimination and performance optimization.
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes and implement data-driven corrective actions.
- Conduct time studies and numerical analyses to measure and improve operations performance.
- Use data insights to enhance resource allocation, inventory management, and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Design resource planning strategies to improve staffing, equipment utilization, and warehouse layout.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operations data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Proactively resolve operations issues with innovative, scalable solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align operations goals and ensure collective success.
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly and effectively across all levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in process improvement or operations management within fulfillment or logistics environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data interpretation and numerical analysis.
- Solid understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Familiarity with inventory control, resource planning, and supply chain concepts.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Farsi, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Python, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience with BPMN 2.0 notation and process modeling tools for business process improvement.
