About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Test and QA Engineer to join our product and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications through both manual and automated testing methods. You’ll play a critical part in our development lifecycle and help maintain the high standards of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Maintain and improve test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements from a QA perspective.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing and writing clear, concise test cases.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
