Senior General Accounting Specialist Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly financial statements in compliance with Iranian Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS-based where applicable) Monthly closing of general and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled Review, reconciliation, and finalization of account balances, including intercompany accounts Preparation of monthly intercompany reconciliation reports in accordance with group policies Compilation and submission of monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statementand Cash Flow Statement Review and validation of monthly insurance and tax-related reports prepared by relevant departments Supervision and control of daily accounting entries and supporting documents Weekly review of trial balances and ensuring proper alignment with ledger accounts Review of commercial and service contracts from accounting and tax compliance perspectives Coordination with external auditors and tax authorities, as required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience Strong proficiency in Iranian tax laws, VAT procedures, labor law, social security regulationsand statutory financial reporting Hands-on experience with accounting software such as RahkaranPardazeshgaran, or other ERP systems Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
