Job Description:
The role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies (Marketing Intelligence), managing vendor relationships (SRM), managing contracts (CLM), Track/validate and reports saving / avoidance, managing Material Master Data, Creating and managing policies and procedures (GPO), support the digital transformation.
Centers of Excellence, or CoEs, are part and parcel of every progressive procurement organization. In the strict sense, they’re internal bodies that perform knowledge-based services on a one-to-many basis for the procurement function and other related stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships
- Develop the vision, strategy, and value proposition for the Center of Excellence
- Define and control procurement performance metrics
- Support Sourcing and Procurement team on innovation projects
- Manage procurement data elements
- Continually build capabilities and benchmark industry best practices and technologies
- Serves as a global super user, providing training, promoting best practices, and supporting process improvement.
skills:
- Experience with wikis, Jira, Jive, SharePoint, and the other usual office tools
- Comfortable to communicate over various channels
- Deep (hands-on) knowledge in software development process - excellent understanding of software development and project management fundamentals
- At least 5 years of experience as a professional services manager, consultant or an engineer, preferably with an Internet, Cloud or “Big 5” consulting organization
- Incident, Change and Problem management experience IT Service Management
- Excellent Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data modelling, ) and PowerPoint skills
- Coaching and capability building experience on delivery teams
- Ability to lead training exercises
