We are looking for a Verticals Manager to own the strategy, performance, and growth of our 11 business verticals, ranging from core Food Delivery to specialized categories such as Protein, Nuts, Fruits, and Grocery.
In this role, you will act as the strategic owner of a complex marketplace ecosystem, ensuring a perfect balance between supply and demand while delivering a seamless customer experience at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic supply and demand balancing across all verticals using real-time and historical data
- Identify underserved areas or time windows and execute targeted acquisition or incentive programs
- Partner with Data teams to forecast seasonal demand surges and proactively prepare supply
- Own key business metrics including P&L, GMV, and Conversion Rate for each vertical
- Optimize the vertical mix by geography to ensure strong customer experience across all categories
- Design and execute cross-selling strategies to increase basket size and customer lifetime value
- Develop incentive structures to motivate merchants and partners during peak demand
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams
- Translate customer feedback into actionable supply-side improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Operations or Category Management (FoodTech, E-commerce, or Last-Mile Delivery preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and BI tools
- Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to solve real-time operational challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
