Overall Purpose of the Role:
This role serves as a critical link between business and finance functions. The Senior Business Data Analyst supports strategic planning and financial management by providing deep, data-driven insights to optimize performance and ensure the achievement of the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Planning & P&L Management: Actively participate in business planning processes and conduct comprehensive Profit & Loss (P&L) management.
- Budget Controlling: Monitor and control operational and capital budgets, analyze variances, and provide actionable reports.
- OKR Definition & Monitoring: Coordinate the definition of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and ensure ongoing tracking of progress and achievement.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Facilitate and lead S&OP meetings to align demand, supply, production, and financial plans.
- Reporting to Senior Management: Prepare and deliver clear, accurate, and data-driven analytical reports to the company's senior leadership.
- Data Analysis for Decision-Making: Employ a data-driven approach to identify growth opportunities, optimize costs, and enhance profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Preferably in Industrial Engineering, Finance, MBA, Computer Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business data analysis, financial planning, budget control, or business development roles within internet companies, marketplaces, FMCG, or logistics sectors.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional projects.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong familiarity with e-commerce dynamics, P&L structures, and budgeting principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Advanced Excel) and preferably familiarity with analytical languages like Python.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Metabase or Power BI.
