Job Overview:

As a Senior Product Designer at STERNX, you will be at the forefront of designing groundbreaking products. Taking on a proactive role, you will identify opportunities at the company level, providing clarity and insight through high-fidelity prototypes and compelling storytelling. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Developers to plan, scope, and execute end-to-end design solutions.


Responsibilities:

1. Product Design: Lead the end-to-end design process for B2B enterprise software products, from concept to delivery, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing.

2. User-Centric Approach: Advocate for the needs of our enterprise users, conducting user research, gathering feedback, and incorporating insights to inform design decisions.

3. UI/UX Design: Create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that enhance user experience and streamline workflows, maintaining consistency across products and platforms.

4. Interaction Design: Define and design user interactions, workflows, and information architectures to ensure seamless navigation and usability across complex enterprise applications.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into elegant design solutions.

6. Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes and design specifications to communicate design concepts and facilitate feedback and iteration.

7. Accessibility: Ensure that our enterprise products comply with accessibility standards and guidelines, making them inclusive and accessible to users of all abilities.

8. Design System: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, establishing design patterns, components, and guidelines to promote consistency and scalability.

9. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in B2B enterprise software design, and advocate for innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on B2B enterprise software.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in B2B enterprise product design, including case studies and examples of your work.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Solid grasp of interaction design, information architecture, and design systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in agile development environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
