We seek a very creative English news writer and copywriter to join the marketing team. Highly skilled in creating copies that impact the audience and help elevate the engagement and influence of the different marketing channels, especially the company’s newsroom. This new teammate will search the company upside down and inside out to find and write news worth sharing.
Requirements:
- Very fluent in the English language with excellent writing skills
- 2 years of experience in news writing or copywriting with proven work experience
- Strong attention to detail and good proofreading skills
- Strong storytelling skills
- Familiar with tech-news writing and company press release structures
- Familiar with different marketing channels and marketing materials
- Good time management and task management skills
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Working experience in tech and IT business is a huge plus
Responsibilities:
- Approach all product groups, marketing, and sales teams to capture news worth sharing and generate creative copies for the company's LinkedIn page and write press releases for the company newsroom
- Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way for the audience according to the content strategy
- Collaborating with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials
- Reflect company’s achievements and internal news alongside important announcements in the newsroom
- Developing copies for social media that resonates with the audience
- Proofreading of all written materials before being published
